Performance is an important factor in the survival of MSME actors. The small business sector in Bali is in dire need of continuous performance so that the welfare of business actors can be sustainable. Culture is the thing that distinguishes each region in carrying out its business ethics, by adhering to culture, a sector that is solid in maintaining a green environment, human relations and God. This study wants to examine the moderating role of Local Wisdom (Tri Hita Karana) on Competence and Business Performance of small businesses. Quantitative method is used with purposive sampling technique of 86 samples from the Slovin formula. Moderation Local wisdom provides a competency boost to performance. The existence of caring for the environment, others and adhering to Gods teachings, norms and responsibilities become greater.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of government spending (Education, Health, Housing and Public Facilities, and Social Protection), GRDP, DAU, and population on the poverty of the provinces in Indonesia. The method in this study uses the Regression Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) panel model with 32 provinces. The data used is secondary data with a period of 2010-2020 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), and provincial sites from each region.

This study aims to know if it is worth investing in tomato farmers education in Iraq. Two-stage analyses of the Data Envelopment Approach were used. In the first stage, scores of technical efficiency were obtained. In the next one, technical efficiency scores were regressed, using Tobit analysis, on educational factors to understand which factor can affect education. Data used in this study ranged from 1991 to 2016 and they were obtained from the FAO website. Results of the first stage showed that there is room for improving technical efficiency or increasing tomato output keeping the level of input the same. The second stage analysis showed that investing in increasing the basic education level of females can increase technical efficiency and eventually the output of tomatoes.

The study is aimed to develop a model that predict intention to shop online on Generation Z. the factors is derived from TRA and TPB that included perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude toward online shopping. SEM-PLS used to analyze the data from 287 respondents. The result is that all of the hypotheses are significant which concluded that there is significant impact of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use toward intention to shop online through attitude toward online shopping.

The study utilized the panel regression method of analysis to measure The Effect of Capital Structure on The Profitability of the Cement Industry in Nigeria. of 3 Cement companies in Nigeria by collecting data on the capital structure (Equity and Debt ratio) as well as on a controlled variable, between 2007 and 2019, a period of thirteen years. The Hausman test was used to determine the appropriate Model between the Fixed and Random Models, the two main methods appropriate for analysing panel data. The test affirmed the appropriateness of the Fixed Effect Model. The finding shows that capital structure has a positive and statistically significant impact on the industry s profitability. Because; each of the components of capital structure (D.R. and EQTY) is positive and significant since the respective p-values are less than the average critical value of 5% (0.05). This study recommends that managers of manufacturing companies (cement) increase the reliance on debt financing as a source of finance because they have much influence on profit generation on both returns on Equity (ROE) and return on asset (ROA), as indicated by regression results.

This study aims to determine the effect of warning letters, forced letters and warrants to carry out confiscation on payment of tax arrears at the Kendari Pratama Tax Service Office. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis with the help of SPSS 24, it shows that the results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test) prove that the warning letter has a positive and significant effect on the settlement of tax arrears. The value of t-count > t-table is 3.157 > 1.661 with a significant level of 0.002 < 0.05. The results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test) prove that the Forced Letter has a positive and insignificant effect on the settlement of tax arrears. The value of t-count < t-table is 0.449 <1, 661 with a significant level of 0.654 > 0.05. The results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test) prove that the Warrant for Implementing Confiscation has a positive and significant effect on the settlement of tax arrears. The value of t-count > t-table is 3.298 > 1.661 with a significant level of 0.001 <0.05. The results of the simultaneous hypothesis test (F-test) prove that a warning letter, a warrant and a warrant for confiscation have a significant effect on the settlement of tax arrears at the Kendari Pratama Tax Office.

This study aimed to determine and examine the effect of the ability of human resources and performance allowances individually and collectively on the work performance of employees at the Directorate of Regional Budget Planning, Directorate General of Regional Financial Development, Ministry of Home Affairs. The research method uses a survey with a quantitative correlational approach, and the sampling technique is simple random sampling, namely simple random sampling. The population in this study was 52 employees of the Directorate of Regional Budget Planning, Directorate General of Regional Financial Development, and Ministry of Home Affairs, while the sample taken in this study was 52. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The study results: a) From the results of the first hypothesis test, it was obtained that the magnitude of the effect was 65.4%, while other factors influenced the remaining 34.6%. Then the significant test (t-test) count 9,730 > table 1,675. The first hypothesis is accepted (Ha) means that there is a positive and significant influence on the ability of human resources on employees work performance at the Directorate of Regional Budget Planning, Directorate General of Regional Financial Development, Ministry of Home Affairs. b) The results of the second hypothesis test obtained the magnitude of the effect of 79.6%, while other factors influenced the remaining 20.4%. Then the significant test (t-test) count 13,954 > table 1,675. The second hypothesis is accepted (Ha) means that there is a positive and significant influence between performance allowances on employee performance at the Directorate of Regional Budget Planning, Directorate General of Regional Financial Development, Ministry of Home Affairs. c) The results of the third hypothesis test obtained the magnitude of the effect of 80.8%, while other factors influenced the remaining 19.2%. Then the significant test (F test) Fount 103,107 > F-table 4.03. The third hypothesis is accepted (Ha) means that there is a positive and significant influence between the ability of human resources and performance allowances on employee performance. Performance allowances have a dominant influence compared to the ability of human resources on employee performance at the Directorate of Regional Budget Planning, Directorate General of Regional Financial Development, Ministry of Home Affairs.

The success of an international school is affected by a multiple of factors, most of which contribute to the quality of learning. One of these factors is related to the role of a principal whose leadership quality impacts learning processes. School principals are in charge of developing staff, setting directions, and redesigning the institution. The current paper aims at revealing these qualities and responsibilities that may contribute directly to enhance learning processes. It also attempts to evaluate principals’ roles in allowing teaching staff and admins to share responsibility and be engaged in building trust and strengthening relationships and roles. The results of the paper indicate that the roles of effective principals rely on positive impact on the school staff.

The recent upsurge in information technology has created the automation of processes and the reorganization of the chain of financial business area. In a new trend technology application, peer-to-peer lending (P2P) model, a service that connects individuals to borrow and lend money is adopted by the new online platform along with advanced technology systems and many different purposes. Hence, this research explores the situation and draws on possible potential causes of peer-to-peer lending risk. The questionnaire surveys were launched in December of 2021 with arepresentative sample consisted of 205 participants, including the majority of Vietnamese who had stable incomes in major cities of domestic nation and some others abroad as well as in-depth interviews also took place with persons who have a clear understanding of peer-to-peer lending and its risks. Based on findings, some recommendations were proposed to reduce risk of a new form of credit provision.

Developing economies have frequently employed macroeconomic factors such as the currency rate, inflation, investment, and so on to manage trade flow; yet, there are often chronic deficits in the balance of trade and payments due to a structural imbalance between the amounts of exports and imports. As most rich countries intentionally used the benefits of international trade to improve their trade balance position, many developing countries signed up for numerous unilateral and multilateral trade policy reforms that provided little to no economic benefit. As a result, this study employs cointegration and an error correction model based on the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) framework to analyse and estimate the effect of macroeconomic factors on Ghana s trade balance and how Ghana s trade balance has changed from 2000 to 2018. Quarterly time series data covering a period of 19 years, from 2000 to 2019 was collected on all dependent and independent variables such as exchange rate, inflation rate, interest rate and GDP per capita. The results indicate that exchange rate and interest rate significantly affect trade balance while GDP per capita and inflation insignificantly affect trade balance. The study recommended that the government should put in more measures to stabilise the currency and local manufacturers should be motivated by giving subsidies and tax exceptions.

This paper provides evidence that contract enforcement and remittances positively affect economic growth. Secondary data on Ghana was obtained from World Development Indicator spanning from the period 1980 to 2017. The variables used for the study include economic growth as the dependent variable and contract enforcement and remittances as independent variables. Foreign Direct Investment, export and financial development were used as control variables. The study investigates the significant relationship between remittances and economic growth in the presence of contract enforcement. Hence, one will like to examine the effect of contract enforcement to ensure that the remittance received is used. Cointegration, unit root estimations and regression estimations were conducted on time series data in examining the link between remittances and economic growth. The study shows a significant positive relationship between contract enforcement and economic growth in Ghana. The study also shows an important positive link between the interaction of remittances and contract enforcement on Ghana s economic growth in the long run. It was recommended in the study that Ghana should have strong contract enforcement so remittance and other factors can help promote economic growth.

Mobile gaming is known as a high and competitive growing industry of business. There have been lots of game released every day in the last two years. This study examines the relationship between online game addiction (withdrawal, mood modification, relapse) on loyalty and purchase intention in online game applications. The proposed model is empirically evaluated using LimeSurvey on 262 PUBG Mobile online game users. The analysis used partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed that (withdrawal, mood modification, relapse) gives such significant and positive relationship toward purchase intention in online game applications. The relationship between mood modification and relapse positively and significantly affects online game loyalty. Withdrawal and loyalty have no significant positive relationship.

This research aims to reveal the digitization of SMEs how they can continue to survive in the pandemic era and be sustainable. The analysis uses a qualitative case study approach based on semi-structured interviews that allow for personal, actual interpretation and a reduction in general explanations. Cases are selected based on established criteria for SMEs in Malang City. Data collection was carried out by exploring related SMEs social media sites, direct observation of offline stores and candid interviews with business owners. SMEs selected according to the criteria set to be the object of research are Serena Cookies, Cornelia and Anda Cookies.

The study examined the effects of the financial crises of 2007/2008 on the performance of the cement industry in Nigeria. The study s objectives were to examine the effects of the financial crises on the profitability of the cement industry; and the Cost of production of cement in Nigeria. The study adopted an Ex-post facto research design and used secondary data collected from the audited annual reports of three (3) sampled cement companies from 2007 - to 2017. Data collected was analyzed using the Generalized Least Square statistical technique. Specific findings showed that financial crises have significant adverse effects on the profitability of cement companies and the Cost of cement production in Nigeria. The study recommended that cement companies look inwards for locally sourced raw materials to insulate their business from the vicissitude of international economic scenes.

Knowing which sector credit facilities can contribute to increasing economic growth in the long term in Indonesia, is the main objective of the research. This research uses secondary data as quarterly data from 2010Q1 to 2019Q4. Using the VECM approach to identify long-term effects, equipped with structural analysis to determine the response to shocks as well as the resulting contribution. Overall sectoral bank credit facilities have a significant long-term impact on GDP, it was found, though of a different nature. The positive nature of credit facilities for the agricultural sector, wholesale and retail trade sector, and the transport, warehousing and communications sectors, while credit for manufacturing, construction, and financial intermediaries had the opposite impact. A credit shock for construction and financial intermediary sector loans responded positively in the long and short term, while credit for the manufacturing sector received the largest negative response. The largest contribution to economic growth came from manufacturing sector credit, financial intermediary sector credit, agricultural sector credit, and lastly, construction sector credit. Researchers suggest increasing credit allocations to agribusiness, discount and retail exchange, and the transport and communications sectors to meet long-term goals, while in the short term, maximizing the allocation of credit between the manufacturing sector, the financial intermediaries sector, and the transport and communications sector.

Firm financial performance is essential for corporate survival and prosperity. Financial leverage may be used to enhance corporate financial performance, but it can also occasion financial distress and bankruptcy if not carefully managed. At the Nairobi Securities Exchange, a number of firms face poor financial performance, and financial distress, commonly associated with excessive leverage and bankruptcy.

This study aimed to examine the impact of financial performance expressed in ROA and NPF on financial sustainability with institutional ownership as a moderating variable for Islamic banks in Indonesia. Quantitative research is used in this study using related methods. The research target is all Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Sampling used the purposive sampling method and resulted in nine Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The data in this study is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports from 2015 to 2019. Panel data regression analysis was used with SPSS version 25 software for data analysis. The results showed that ROA had a significant positive effect on financial sustainability. And, NPF has a significant negative impact on financial sustainability. Meanwhile, institutional ownership weakens the relationship between ROA and financial sustainability and does not have a moderating role in the relationship between NPF and financial sustainability. The coefficient of determination test shows that ROA, NPF, and the moderating role of institutional ownership can explain the 75.6% relationship on financial sustainability.
